Rhasidat Adeleke

Rhasidat Adeleke is one of Ireland’s brightest sprinting stars and a proud member of Tallaght Athletic Club. From a young age, she has demonstrated exceptional speed, determination, and a passion for athletics, establishing herself as a dominant force on both the national and international stage.

Adeleke first gained national recognition as a junior athlete, securing multiple national titles and breaking records. She quickly rose through the ranks, winning gold in the 100m and 200m at the European U20 Championships. Her talent led her to the University of Texas, where she continued to shine, setting new Irish records in the 200m and 400m while competing in the highly competitive NCAA circuit.

Her meteoric rise reached new heights when she made history by representing Ireland at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, competing in the 400m and the 4x400m mixed relay. Her Olympic debut was a landmark moment for Irish athletics, further cementing her status as a world-class sprinter and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Israel Olatunde

Israel Olatunde is Ireland’s fastest man and a standout sprinter from Tallaght Athletic Club. Known for his explosive speed, determination, and infectious energy, he has rapidly risen through the ranks to become a national record holder and a major contender on the international stage.

Olatunde first made an impact as a junior athlete, dominating the Irish sprinting scene and claiming multiple national titles. His breakthrough moment came at the 2022 European Championships, where he became the first Irishman to qualify for a 100m final, finishing sixth and setting a new Irish 100m record (10.17s).
