Rhasidat Adeleke has won the Sport Ireland Rising Star Of The Year Award 2023
2023 was a real breakthrough year for Rhasidat. Of course it was no surprise for those of us who have been following her closely since her EYOF winning ways

Adeleke became the first Irishwoman to break the 50 second-barrier in the 400m this season, a feat the 21-year-old managed on six occasions in 2023. Adeleke lowered her Irish record to 49.20 at the NCAA Championships which was the fastest time recorded by a European in 2023.
Adeleke was also nominated for European Athletes Rising Star award i 2023 also
